The Epistemic Dimensions of Ignorance

Ignorance is a neglected issue in philosophy. This is surprising given that ignorance is a core concept in medical ethics and in debates about privacy, and features in religious traditions and debates about belief in God. This book provides important tools from epistemology that can be used in debates within and beyond philosophy.
